SOTP: March '17

littlerecordIt's been a couple months and some things are changing/have changed soo gonna do one of these:
Me: Officially moved house which means a couple of things! For one I am about an hour closer to work which means way less time commuting and more time back in my day. Also officially living by myself which means no other distractions for the most part. Expect tagging to get back on track to at least every day. Timezone still prevents me from doing quick tag threads as people are usually asleep when I'm tagging but I should be able to get to things quicker than I was.
My trip away is indefinitely put off which sucks but I'm at least in a good place mentally and financially and definitely have more me time.

Isabelle is recovering from the last couple of months. Some things still trigger her into a downward spiral but for the most part she's doing a good job of keeping her chin up. She now has her brother's wedding to plan to keep her distracted, and she also has a new kitten named Bazley to keep her company. As of Valentine's Day, Billy also told her he loves her and she returned the sentiment, which is a big step for Isabelle so she's pretty happy with everything there. At the moment she's focusing on trying to help Tris through her most recent Darrow fuckery, and is staying with her.
Isabelle is, as usual, my constant. She has a good number of threads this month and isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Nathan is currently dealing with an eighteen year old Sam so his hands are full. Also two of his best friends switched genders last month so he's pretty confused and paranoid that he's next. Maybe he will be, who knows. Mostly he's just doing his usual thing, but I do really want to try and get him opening up his shady black market business soon, I just have to work out how. Mainly, how he's going to pay for it. He'll probably have to steal something, so if anyone wants in hit me up.
Nate needs at least one more thread to hit reqs this month but I'm always happy to play him anywhere and everywhere so please let me know if you want a thread! He needs People.
Matthew is doing not a lot. Saoirse arrived back in Darrow and he was pretty excited to see her again, but also sad that she doesn't remember him and they're starting from square one. He moved in with Matthias, and that's about all I got.
He only has the one thread for March so far and I think at this point, I'm just about ready to bite the bullet. I'm not playing him right, I'm struggling to nail his voice anymore and I don't know what to do with him. Likelihood of a drop this month is pretty high unless a miracle happens.
Raven doesn't have a lot going on either, in all honesty, but it's always still so easy to get into her head. She's so easygoing to play and I can throw her at just about anyone or anything, which is helpful. I need to catch up on canon but there's some things there around her injury that I want to maybe bring to Darrow, so there should be more plot for her on the horizon. I just want to see what canon does with it before I get into anything too deep. For now, close friends would have started to notice that the pain in her leg is starting to come back, though she's doing everything she can to hide it.
Needs another thread for March for reqs, but I'd also love to do some more threads with her, whether private or what. Would love to have her make some more friends. Let me know if anyone wants her anywhere.
James has his wife back and is ridiculously happy, basically. He's spending most of his time refusing to let her out of his sight, but he's also somehow probably become an occasional Drembleydrop coach, for reasons unknown to him. He doesn't know any of the rules but it's a Sport so he's happy. It makes even less sense than quidditch, so he's extra happy. He's in the middle of a prank war with Sirius and Lila which is sure to escalate and it's also his birthday soon, for which his surprise will be moving into The Nook, which I'm really excited about. Oh, and he inherited Harry's old Firebolt, so he can often be spotted flying around.
Just about sorted for March, but I wouldn't mind getting him out there a little more. Needs some friends besides his wife and Sirius, probably.
Liesel is such a darling. I was really worried that it would be too hard to play a child but I love her so much. She stole her first book in Darrow (kind of) and even though she doesn't really trust anyone or anything in this city yet, she's starting to meet some people. She's moving into Baz and Simon's place this week so she'll be out of the Children's Home and on her way to a happier place. She misses Rudy and Max and Papa something fierce but she's doing okay, even if I would quietly pay someone to app Max.
She's covered for March threads, but is still new so if anyone wants to do anything with her I'm all ears. Her EP is still open if anyone wants to meet her, or private threads are always welcome.
Future:
So TVD finished forever and it's made me want to bring back Stefan Salvatore and play him properly this time. He didn't get any interest in TD but I still want to maybe pursue this. Who doesn't love an eternally 17 year old hunk? Also he's sassy when he's not brooding. He's in the queue again.
Hawkeye Pierce has made an appearance in the last few Test Drives and I've been tossing it up. He's a lot of fun with a side of a lot of PTSD but I don't know if I have the guts to take him on full time. Plus I'm not sure if anyone would really thread with him in Darrow as he is a bit outside the norm. But I love him.
This started with a TSN rewatch and a small desire to mess with Laine but now the urge to bring Mark Zuckerberg won't go away. I'm not sure that I'm smart enough or quick enough to keep up with him though so he's still on the backbench. Maybe.
100% a whim in TD but I had heaps of fun with Crowley and I've watched a metric fuck ton of Supernatural lately and it beckons me. It would be fun to play an asshole, but at the same time that might be hard to swing in Darrow. He's in the queue anyway.

I'd love to try to get more threads with him of any variety, but I don't want you to feel like you're clinging to something if it's not going to be fruitful for you?

It's hard when other people don't know the canon because no one pulls me up on it and therefore I've gotten SO LAX and his voice is so off it annoys me. I am basically giving him until the end of the month because I'm scared to let gooooo but I don't think it's going to do much good. ;__;

We'll have to fabricate something, of course, and I'd love to see Sam and Coop and Nate all get involved in this (bc I can't imagine that Coop would sit this out if he has even an inkling that it's going down).
Also, Saoirse and Liesel need to meet, since they'll be living in the same house soon XD

Coop is getting involved in the initial stealing and Nate will probably also make him try and give up his magic mystery box
THEY DO. Kara asked me if they wanted to share a room but Liesel is a bit older and has nightmares still so I think it's better if she has her own/shares with an NPC but they still definitely need to meet.

Oh man, yeah. Saoirse needs an older sibling in her life but she might not know how to help with nightmares, especially where she can't speak. BUT THEY CAN STILL BE FRIENDS and maybe even Liesel can help Saoirse read better!
