SOTP/Thread Call

RIGHT okay I want to get an early start on October so consider this a mini SOTP/call for threads! Lately I have been keeping pretty well on track of things during the start of the week but I think I need to come to terms with the fact that my weekends are no longer prime tagging time. I've been away every weekend for the last couple of months and I don't see that changing any time soon so please continue to bear with me. I know my tags stretch out to a few days old at that time each week but I am doing my best!

That, combined with my timezone means threads take me a little longer these days so I want to get a headstart on things now, especially with Unmaker and Purge coming up. Please let me know if you want any of mine anywhere and we can work something out!

OKAY THE IDIOTS:


NATHAN

Nate is sitting out of Unmaker but it has been decided that for THE PURGE he will accidentally stumble across some kind of ritual sacrificing murder cult because he has the worst luck. He's gonna be taken off to some kind of abandoned building/basement-y thing and Chloe will have to save his ass. I originally thought this would be a private thread but I'm open to suggestions if anybody else wants in on this in any way! I will either post it privately but open it to a few people or maybe EP it if there is enough interest.

As always, I'm open to anything anyone might want him for besides Purge, too. He is always loud.




RAVEN

Also sitting out Unmaker. Has a thread lined up with Lincoln for Purge plot, but basically she's going to be trying to keep her head down while still making sure her friends are okay. She's obviously less mobile than is ideal for this plot and I'm tempted to have her have to resort to stabbing a dude or something, WE'LL SEE. She's going to be really mad about the whole thing because she's kind of seen this shit before with the hundred.

Besides these plots I really want Raven to make some friends in addition to her usual so please let me know if anyone wants her anywhere! She's usually hanging around the garage but I can put her pretty much anywhere.



JAMES

Unmaker is going to have James's magic going pretty awry, oops. He's just had Newt and Melanie move into The Nook with him so it's going to make that all the more difficult. I'm open to suggestions if anyone wants any particular spell to go wrong! He's also going to be trying to help Newt after he splinches himself during Purge, which will be traumatic for everyone XD

I feel like James is starting to find his feet in Darrow a little more these days (finally omg). He had some awesome new threads this month which I really loved, so I'm eager to expand on anything there or have him meet some new people!




LIESEL

So my original plan was to have Liesel in lockdown for Purge but I've changed my mind because I'm awful. So instead I want her to be in the city by accident as it starts, and she'll probably find herself herded into some kind of bunker?? I know a few people have been planning on their pups setting up refuge centres so something like that. She'll have a book with her as always, and will probably end up reliving the way she used to read books aloud to calm people's nerves in bomb shelters back home. If anybody wants a thread with this I'm totally game. She's going to be putting on a brave face but it will bring up some not so pleasant memories.

School is back now too so I think it's time to get her adoption underway (!!!) I still have to work out the details with Brad but she will likely be moving out of Green Gardens soon and going to live with Solo and Julie, it'll be great.




HAWKEYE

I need to do something with Hawk, stat. I'm worried for him because he's mostly coasting along only threading with one or two people and it makes things hard. If anybody ever wants him anywhere PLEASE let me know because I feel like he desperately needs to meet some more people. He won't have much to do with Unmaker but Purge will see him lending his medical skills to anybody who needs them! He might set up in one of the haphazard aid stations that people are talking about putting up, or he might be running around the city patching people up as he finds them, I haven't decided. He'll be RIDICULOUSLY MAD at the entire thing because what the actual fuck Darrow, so expect a very pissy doctor to be yelling at anybody stupid enough to be running around the city.

Aside from that plot specifically he just needs something to DO or some people to befriend. He's probably closest to dropping at the moment which upsets me because I adore him but I'm struggling to figure out where he fits in this place D:




ED

Has a whole lot going on for Unmaker! He'll be having some serious nightmares over the next couple of weeks, which is going to be putting him on edge. He's had visions/nightmares before but nothing like this so he'll be trying to work out exactly what that means. Then Marcus is going to call him in for help when Hild gets possessed, which he will be both eager to help and also apprehensive as fuck about. He was never SUPPOSED to be performing exorcisms back home and he'll feel various kinds of wrong about it here too, but he's not about to say no.

He and Marcus have also gone in together and are buying a studio so they can paint together. Post exorcism they're both going to have a lot going on in their heads that they'll want to get OUT, which will result in a bunch of paintings probably coming to life to terrorise the city but we're still working those details out. Basically, poor Ed is in for a shitty demon-filled couple of months, but I'd love for him to have some support/meet some friends in the meantime! Hit me up :D




ARAGORN

Still so new! I've been really ridiculously nervous about him so I'm really pleased with his debut and how many people are giving him a shot, so THANK YOU :D Plot wise he's still reeling a little but WHY NOT ruin his life some more??? Unmaker is probably going to see him having dreams of how everything back home could have gone terribly, terribly wrong, and he'll be frustrated to no end that he can't get an answer one way or another because Galadriel is the least helpful elf ever.

For Purge he'll be fighting his way to the stables, most likely. He'll cut down anyone who tries to go near Brego, so at this point it'll be Aragorn and Eowyn vs anyone stupid enough to try and break into the stables that night. I'm considering having him then ride out to try and help anyone else, so I'm open to suggestions if anybody wants him anywhere in particular. He will be SO disappointed in Men for being this way without Sauron's/Ring's influence and he'll be pretty horrified and disgusted by the whole thing.

Also I wanna thread Noah and Ed, especially because at the end of Unmaker Noah's gonna be a fucked up ghost closer to his canon self. Also he paints. :D

Okay cool! I can get Noah pretty much anywhere tbh, from the beach to a bar. He works at the cat cafe and the marijuana dispensary, and he skateboards around and hangs out everywhere.

I like the relationship that Tris and Hawkeye could potentially develop if the thread (that I need to tag) pans out how we're planning for it to. She's going to be doing something foolhardy and trying to help people during the Purge and he can, idk, grab her by the collar like C H I L D ???

Diana and Aragorn can be disappointed together and she'll want, so badly, to wish she could just...punch Ares into oblivion and still know that's not how it works.

YES TO THIS TOO. he won't drag her home or anything but he will be very disapproving and probably stay close to make sure she's okay even though he'll be so done with the entire night. idk whether you would want to but we could also maybe subvert things??? Like, normally he'd be all lecturey and adult at her but he's also deathly claustrophobic and has mild ptsd so maybe they could get trapped somewhere during purge and she would have to adult him for once idk and then he will treat her as less of a child?

the idea of Aragorn and Wonder Woman riding through the streets being Disappointed and fighting side by side is beautiful to me, i just shed a tear

For Hawkeye, if you want Sam, Eowyn, or Nikita, let me know. I love Hawkeye and Daniel and if tossing any of my other pups at him will help him expand his horizons, I will totally do it.

Eowyn's going to be having some terrible dreams during Unmaker, so we could also plan for them to walk on the beach and potentially not talk about their dreams. And yes, they are absolutely going to defend the stables and woe betide anyone who gets in the way of two pissed off Middle Earth Royal Warriors.

I'd love that. Maybe they can have a night where they both can't sleep and run into each other on the beach or something and they can both be stupidly proud and refuse to admit that they're actually struggling. I'm pumped for them to get to fight together!! he will be impressed and reevaluate all those times he told her to stay behind lmfao

I'm working on a start for Daniel and Hawkeye now! During Purge Daniel will be trying to stay out of trouble, but may or may not succeed because I am mean. :D Sam and Hawk could be good. Sam's got a top level at the fall gathering, although I don't know if you've picked up enough threads to not want to start any right now.

Oh, it would be wonderful for them to just be all Noble and Slightly Awkward and Repressed at each other. They're so good at that. And he may be startled at her fighting style. She's learned from several people here, so her style has shifted a little from Pure Rohirric to Oh What The Hell As Long As It Works.

You know Coop's always in for Nate stuff. He can be used however as long as he doesn't go to prison. IDK should Nate find out he did the dirty with Nate's kind of girlfriend? Maybe during the Unmaker/Purge to make it worse? SPITBALLING.

During the Unmaker, Elias's very, very light ability to see dead people is going to go haywire and he's gonna see dead people EVERYWHERE. Raven should have to deal with him there, if you'd like.

Lucy's always up for Hawkeye threads, flirting or otherwise!

THAT WORKS. Coop will feel pretty bad. He might insist on tagging along to at least wait in the car (or whatever) to make sure Chloe saves his ass okay. HE WILL FEEL BAD. But yes, that's definitely doable, Coop needs to do something dumb.

SORRY RAVEN HE WON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO EITHER. His experience seeing dead people was confined to one place so seeing them everywhere else is gonna freak him out too. I might make one of those people Laia, the girl he kind of sort of liked, so Raven might get to learn about her too.

I was going to comment on other stuff, but I was half asleep last night SO: if Liesel wants to run into Sweeney during the purge, I'm down for that, too. You know he's going to be out and about enjoying the chaos and punching dicks when they get too close to him/too close to hurting other people.

I'm not going for reqs as I'll be in LA but you're welcome to any of mine for any of yours. I like to always have an Aurora* and Hawk thread going just because I think they're awesome, but this one might still go for a while (if it's okay with you) since there's much to resolve and I'm slow. Again, it will suck if you have to drop him and Aurora will be very sad but you have to do what's best for you and your roster.

*I had planned on her doing nothing for the Purge but in the aftermath it's definitely getting written about so she might ask about his experience.

Debora's going to be having nightmares due to Unmaker plot. I don't know if you've seen her canon yet but I can be vague and avoid spoilers if you like, because her nightmares are about a specific thing.
