They can totally do this when Nate opens his shop. It's basically gonna have a bunch of real antiques and shit as a cover and to fool old ladies and then he'll have a bunch of magic artefact shit that he can sell to the more shady types in Darrow. So if Coop wants to sell him shit or buy shit they totally can in a platonic bro way. BUT he still needs to steal something proper to sell to begin with so he has enough money to start this whole venture. Does Coop wanna be his bro business partner???
